Problem

You would like to include the ErrorURL component into your PortalGuard IdP Metadata. This is required by the InCommon Federation guidelines.

Solution

This feature requires PortalGuard version 6.5.1.5 or later.

1. Download the attached “_PG-SAML-Metadata-Template.xml” file

2. Place the file within the “C:\Program Files\PistolStar\PortalGuard\Policies” folder on your PortalGuard server.

3. Run iisreset from an administrative command prompt.

4. The metadata can be accessed and downloaded from the URL “https://your.pg.server/sso/metadata.ashx”
